photo cred Cat Lisa and I are very grateful for multiple reasons.  Besides the privilege of being surrounded by amazing, soul restoring friends and family we also get to do what we do best.  Spread "THE GOODS" word. We had such a blast yesterday sharing the knowledge to an great group of peeps. Wisdom was imparted, questions were posed & answered, and great food was made & consumed. And as a bonus, new friendships were made. A total success all in all. So thank you Amy, Noelle, Lisa, Tracy, Scott and Sonya.  You all kinda rocked our world and we're excited for you and for what's to come. And extra big thanks goes out to Teresa for always being a supportive friend and quite a looker if I might add... click here. For all of you future GOODS course takers, fear not as we have loads of courses coming up.  Don't suffer from the FOMO's another day, go to the "classes" tab and register today. Werd.

Just got back from our, what now seems to be annual, summer trip to Eastern Ontario. We hit Ottawa up for a wedding, then promptly to Grande Jean's family cottage on Big Rideau Lake for a week. Being from Southern Ontario, the tropical hot spot that it is, my family didn't spend time in the east end of the province so it's kinda new and fun for me. We took a day trip to Perth, which was surprisingly picturesque and drove the Number 2 back to Toronto to wind our way through all the little towns that line the route. It's really quite gorgeous, I'm so looking forward to my August weekend in Port Hope! While prepping for a trip in which you won't fall victim to the 24hour roadside stop for sustenance can seem like too much effort, it really isn't and in the end you'll be grateful. Save yourself the energy of hopelessly looking for real food at a gas station, and feel right about your choices. I took these goods with us for the long drive there and back, 1L mason of green smoothie mini mason of sprouts, seasoned with salt, pepper and amazing olive oil 1 apple & 1 pear OR a few peeled oranges I wanted to take something I could grab on the quick as a meal, so I made a nice big batch of magic muesli which lasted me the entire 10 days, plus some sharing. I bring my blender when I can and wow did it come in handy at the cottage. We enjoyed our daily green smoothie or juice, plus some dangerous fruit cocktails on the dock!! Overall it was a balanced trip, some indulgences, lots of gorgeous, local and organic foods, sunshine, awesome scenery and good people! Thank you.
