Ugh... morning number two sucks on this liver cleanse. Was hoping it would get better since I should be less toxic than last time but no such luck. I'm not terribly hungry, I'm just really dragging. I do wonder if it would be better if I was in an office setting with all the distraction. Like yesterday one of my clients came by for a lunch session, I showed her how to juice with a blender and we made a big, soup full of all kinds of lively organic goods and I was feeling totally great. Now mind you it was day one. I guess I'll see, my gf is coming by for a hangout and a veggie bevy this evening. A little trick that works for me when fasting, other than distracting yourself with sleep or people, is remembering the difference between being hungry and wanting to eat. They are not the same thing. I am not hungry, I just really would love to dive into something delicious. And also know if I do break and eat something not only am I cheating yourself (lame) but it'll hurt like hell in 30 minutes.

I've been prepping all afternoon for my week of juice fasting and liver detoxification. I'm doing this one solo since Grande Jean is out of town on business. I chose to plan the hell out of this fast, as last time I didn't have enough produce and had to drag my ass out of the house on day three and it was less than fun. Just finishing up my apple cider and oxy to get things started this evening and tomorrow the juicing will begin and just in time for the full moon. I'm pretty happy this one is falling on a full moon, ideally I would have started two days prior as it's said your consciousness peaks with the full moon as it does after a few days of juice fasting and detoxing, regardless starting with the moon will be perfect for me. I'm looking forward to giving my digestive system a break, and cleaning out my liver and gallbladder. I had such amazing results on the last go I'm hoping to improve upon those same results this time around. Better skin, more energy and vibrancy. And great digestive flow. It was very rejuvenating.
