Remember those little packets of instant hot cereal, I loved those things growing up and by growing up I mean up until a few years ago. Don't talk to me about any flavour except apple cinnamon, maple maybe but apple cinnamon was where it was at. Lots of excitement around breakfast quinoa these days and since I had a shit ton left over from delivery this week and the bros can only eat so much I decided to toss together an easy breaky in memory of those instant packages. Apple Cinnamon Quinoa 1 cup cooked quinoa 1 small apple, grated 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp raw honey (optional) Mix everything together by hand and enjoy! This is so easy, quinoa has about 8g of protein per cup and it keeps well in the fridge for 4 to 5 days so make a big batch. Mix and match fresh and dried fruits or add other flavours like raw cacao, or hemp seeds or chopped nuts. Really whatever is in your cupboard.
