photo cred Cat Here's what happened. Lisa came over for lunch last Friday. We ate, laughed, plotted and schemed. No nothing out of the ordinary really. After lunch, which consisted of my fav spiralized zucchini with homemade pesto, organic peas and corn, I decided to make dessert.  Enter the strawberry-banana smoothie.  This one was a slight variation of the classic Cinnamon Banana Shake but with a few strawberries added and almonds instead of hazelnuts. Then I started thinking about the versatility of smoothies. They can be a breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or dessert. Smoothies rock, no matter how you look at it.  Forget the pie and ice cream, serve your guests, of all ages, a lovely, healthy and outrageously delicious fruit smoothie instead.  Be an innovator not a laggard.

Photo cred Cat Wow, yet another fab course on Saturday. We had a beautiful group that came from far and wide.  The joy for Lisa and me is that every course is slightly different.  That's not because the subject matter is different rather that each course has a new group of peeps.  It offers a different vibes, different chemistry, different flow, but magical in it's uniqueness.  Saturday's sessions delved into supplements and add ons, which was fascinating (Lisa, is there any end to your coolness?) And what's even better? A couple attendees contacted us and shared their excitement of making/consuming their smoothie the following day.  I mean, c'mon, what a privilege it is to be part of their journey.  We are so honoured. So thank you Sandy, Margaret, Alex and Nikki for taking that first step.  Thanks for taking the time to come and more importantly thanks for doing this for yourself.  You deserve it. Remember everyone, we're just an email away and always happy to share insights and hear your personal victories. Who knows, maybe your story or question will inspire others.

photo cred Cat As a side job/labour of love, I'm providing homemade green smoothies to a great gal close to home (wha wha Meagan). She attended our Kick Start Smoothie class and really wanted all the benefits of said smoothie but due to super early morning starts, and her blender waking up the household, she found it hard to make happen.  Does that sound familiar? So every morning I make a HUGE, beautiful, organic green smoothie and she gets half and I get the other half - total win-win sitch.  My eldest names them (yesterday's smoothie was "The J'en Paco" cause she was pretending to talk French and today's was "The Edward" cause we were discussing the Twilight movies, as one does with a 4 yr old) and then I drop it off to Miss Meagan. And I'm happy to say that I have another person interested in this smoothie delivery cause let's be honest what could be better than a gorge green smoothie, made with love and delivered right to you.  I mean, I ask you....
