A friend from college emailed me this week about food. He had a bunch of questions, some concerns. I find the process intriguing, watching people. They dismiss you, then argue, circle, question. Something has caught their eye, a few too many glimpses behind the curtain. They're doubtful. It doesn't make sense... I thought, but I always, how could I not, it's too much. Not possible. Well maybe it's kinda true, just a little, balance... The thoughts cumulate, they think about it when they take a bite, when they're buying, and when they're planning, the dots connect. They start to notice, they feel better and look better. People notice, things work better, others agree, everyone seems to agree. And this difference, these changes, make it better, to live this way, to feel this way. They'll always be this way! They forget and remember, and forget and quickly remember, forget and remember again. It doesn't matter, it's sticking. And it is better, for you, for family, for friends. It's better for the community, local economy, the environment, world hunger and resources. You knew it the whole time, you can't unknow it. It's real. It's contributing. It's good.
