Green smoothies and full blend juices are where it's at. We drink our blended vegetables and fruits in their entirety daily - edible skins, seeds, fibre and all... nothing extracted. The vast majority of us could use more roughage, fibre does the dirty work. Fibre acts like a broom and sweeps through your digestive track, getting in all the nooks and kicking the grime, dust and ancient crud out the backdoor. This clears the way so your body can absorb the concentration of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients from the blended plants. And if you're lucky, all that fibre might even smooth things over between you and your poo. Juice extraction has its pros, it can be a great way to get an extra dose of vitamins, people suffering from a myriad of digestive issues may do better sans fibre (read cold-pressed) and for healing, supervised juicing can be powerful medicine. Challenge yourself to down a big, fibre full, green smoothie daily for a week. Maybe you'll pickup a new goods habit you love... you might even feel amazing. Loads of clean-vegan, green drink recipes here.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDZX4ooRsWs&w=560&h=315] MISFIT is back in action, thank the heavens. There is a lot to be excited about, they've added more classes and a 30 Day Challenge starting Monday, yes, yes I'm one day late writing this and signing up but don't you worry I'll catch up and so will you. Joining the challenge gets you an unlimited pass for $150, all you newbies who'll be TOTALLY hooked can then grab the intro pass for only $45 after the challenge ends. Basically that's two months for the price of one... ever wonder how good your ass could look... well now is the time to find out. Remember to order the Goods for pickup at the studio and experience just how much magic can be conjured through good food and movement.

I've been having a serious love affair with MISFIT for over 7 months, and it keeps getting better. The 31 Day Challenge ended two weeks ago and I feel great. So strong... and maybe a little more superhuman than usual. A lot clicked over the month, regarding my form and flow. Spending so much time with their amazing instructors made all the difference. I managed 31 classes in 31 days and even made MISFIT of the Month, obviously I love that shit! At this point my Pilates/yoga session is as much part of my day as my green smoothie and the combination of the two is incredibly transformative. I highly recommend this to everyone, especially you restless souls seeking change. The cold weather and early evenings are upon us so it's extra important to take care of your body, mind and spirit. Seriously kids, have I ever lead you astray? Give it a go, intro pass at the studio is $45 unlimited mat and THE GOODS has a pickup fridge in the MISFIT lounge. Win win! THE GOODS wants each and every one of you to learn how to make your own green smoothies, we'll have classes in 2014 but in the meantime check our delicious recipes.

Misfitchurch I have a new exercise challenge in my sights, 31 days of Misfit. Starting today, October 7, one class, everyday, for 31 days. Wowzer. You would think I learned my lesson with with the very popular, yet to be completed squat challenge... I managed 180, what can I say. Think about it. A challenge is great motivation, you're bound to come out of the whole thing tighter, more mindful and maybe even hooked on something really good for you.* BONUS: You can pickup THE GOODS at the studio too, no minimums... just saying. *And you'll have Gosi to thank for all of it... refresher.

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXxNXAEHk-c] Sooo how are you doing with the squat challenge... I'm on day 16, a rest day thankfully! I just put on my "squat" song and push through it. Physically I feel so much stronger, it makes such a difference combining fitness with a nutrient rich, full diet. My endurance is better, results are faster, my tush is a touch higher and therefore it keeps me interested. I was toying with the idea of introducing an arm or tummy challenge for next month.... come on, do it with me! We'll feel like a million together come the sweaty weather.
