Happy International Women’s day!

I’m a lucky woman. I was born the daughter of an strong and independent woman and have had the good fortune of countless women stand by my side, helping me become the person I am today. To my aunts, grandmothers, cousins, bosses, friends and coworkers; I love you and I am eternally grateful. Now… back to work.

A special thank you to Uber for the Goods’ team photo and for including us in their Toronto’s Celebrated Female Chef feature.

International Women’s Day

Look Ma, We’re On Tv

We’re veeery excited to announce that THE Kim D’Eon has launched her shiny new food web series, Eat Some Good, this week in partnership with NOW Toronto Online.

And the Goods was featured in the first episode!

It was amazing having Kim in our kitchen, not only are her high vibes always welcome, she’s a strong driven woman, using her TV powers for good… and you know we love when humans use their smarts, experience and passions for the better.

After spending many years in entertainment television Kim went back to school to become a holistic nutritionist and now combines her experience with her love for wellness. Educating Toronto on how to eat clean both at home, through her informative blog and out in the city with her web series.

We feel blessed everyday to be part of this movement. We believe food is at the root of everything, the more we nourish ourselves the more we nourish our community and future generations.

the Goods + UberEATS

We’ve been posting about #uberEATS on social media so here’s the full lowdown.

Uber now offers UberEATS, a super easy lunch option in the downtown core and today they’re serving up our Chuck Norris Bowl. Just order through their Uber app, and it’ll be there in 10 minutes…. no joke.

We’re pretty excited to join forces with Uber for the day to provide yet another means of making the Goods’ clean, feel good eating easy for you. Between that and our Toronto wide weekly lunch delivery service, takeout restaurant on Dundas and our fridges at MISFITSTUDIO on Queen West and Ardith on Roncesvalles feeling great is becoming pretty darn convenient.

If you are in Uber’s delivery area today, use the code EATSGOODS and Uber will give you 50% off your order. And obvs let us know how it goes.

All Hail Brand

I cannot get enough of Russell Brand, to see someone use their fame as a platform to speak this kind of truth is inspiring to say the least. I can imagine it turns some of his fans off, but too bad he needs too be heard. If you don’t like what he has to say I suggest you reflect on why that is exactly. There are some bored looking hosts… which speaks volumes about the business.

There is a lot of love pouring out of him. One love.

We Got This

MISFIT
is back in action, thank the heavens.

There is a lot to be excited about, they’ve added more classes and a 30 Day Challenge starting Monday, yes, yes I’m one day late writing this and signing up but don’t you worry I’ll catch up and so will you.

Joining the challenge gets you an unlimited pass for $150, all you newbies who’ll be TOTALLY hooked can then grab the intro pass for only $45 after the challenge ends. Basically that’s two months for the price of one… ever wonder how good your ass could look… well now is the time to find out.

Remember to order the Goods for pickup at the studio and experience just how much magic can be conjured through good food and movement.
