Kimchi Crack

While some enjoy smoking crack, I on the other hand have been eating kimchi like it is crack. Mixed with a bowl of warm long grain brown rice, avocado oil and mineral salt… oh yummy yum.

And while I’m not about to list the benefits of eating kimchi over smoking crack, I will tell you a few good reasons why you should consider including kimchi in your diet once in a while.

  1. Low in calories, high in fiber
  2. Loaded with minerals and vitamins C, B1 and B12
  3. Vegan friendly source of probiotic (ditch the green yogurt already)
  4. Its raw, fermented, sour, spicy deliciousness

When you’re buying or making kimchi be sure there is no added sugars, fish sauce or other chemicals. There is no need to add this extra stuff, the fermented veggies with natural seasoning like garlic and ginger does the job perfectly.
