Remember when everyone used to get peanut butter and jam sandwiches in their lunch box? Or better yet, as was in my case, peanut butter and banana sandwiches? Now, unfortunately with all the peanut allergies, our kids can’t take them to school anymore. But for all of you that can eat peanut butter or better yet, almond butter, go out and reacquaint yourself with this perfect combination.
I eat it as a snack almost everyday and my eldest loves it too. The new twist on this timeless classic is that we omit the bread – it dilutes the taste anyway. Get out your AB, a banana and spoon it right on. No need to over-complicate things people.
