Feeling Good Day Three

Day three is well underway and I’m feeling good. Had some emotional struggles yesterday with the whole concept of detoxing and I’d convinced myself by about 9:30 in the evening that it wasn’t for me and this was the last one. I then woke up feeling like the total pits and decided rather than fight I needed to give myself a break and recommit to the cleanse. So I walked my boys, drank my juice and ACV, went back to bed for two hours and woke up feeling fantastic. I’ve had lots of mental energy since and been able to finish up all kinds of work. I’m on fire!

While I’m at it, I want to show my appreciation for the constant inspiration from the people around me, friends and clients who are spreading the good food word and getting great results. It brings tears to my eyes every time someone tells me about their mother eating one of my salad recipes everyday and feeling lost without it, or a partner who regularly asks for green juice in the morning, the list goes on. It’s so exciting to see how rapid good food influence spreads. And not only that, the results people are seeing just from adapting a two living meals a day rule, which is how I start all new clients. Regular bathroom movements, sense of smell and taste returning, extra weight disappearing, heaps of energy, glowing skin, sex drive! I know it to be true first hand, but it never ceases to excite me!

One final item, a client sent me this phenomenal article by Mark Hyman, MD, I don’t think I’ve read anything so well written in support of the real food movement, it’s definitely worth a read… though I warn you it’s just a bunch of commonsense.
